Shopping online at Amidon Jewelers is statistically safer than using your credit card at your local restaurant or store. Studies have proven that online purchases are safer than traditional credit card transactions because the information is immediately encrypted into a scrambled message that can only be decrypted by an authorized computer.

Amidon Jewelers servers use Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), an encryption technology that works with the popular Netscape Navigator, Microsoft Internet Explorer and AOL Web browsers. This means your credit card number is scrambled during the transaction process and, unlike in a traditional store, no human ever comes into contact with your credit card number during the approval process.

We reveal only the last four digits of your credit card numbers when confirming an order. Of course, we transmit the entire credit card number to the appropriate credit card company during order processing.
