Conflict Free Diamond Policy
At Amidon Jewelers, we believe a diamond should be beautiful in every way, including how it is sourced.

Conflict diamonds, sometimes called blood diamonds, are rough diamonds used to fund violence or armed conflict. To help prevent these diamonds from entering the global marketplace, the United Nations supported the creation of the Kimberley Process, an international certification system designed to track shipments of rough diamonds and verify that they come from legitimate sources.
The Kimberley Process Certification Scheme requires participating countries and industry members to follow strict standards for the import and export of rough diamonds. In the United States, diamond retailers are required to work with suppliers who can provide documentation confirming that their diamonds were obtained through legitimate channels.
Amidon Jewelers only purchases diamonds from trusted suppliers who follow and uphold the standards established by the Kimberley Process. If a supplier could not provide proper documentation confirming compliance, we would stop doing business with that supplier.
Our goal is to give every customer confidence in the diamond they choose. When you purchase a diamond from Amidon Jewelers, you can feel assured that it has been sourced through responsible and reputable channels.
